Hello. I’m Amanda, a Portland-based, Oregon-licensed Psilocybin Facilitator. I provide knowledgeable, trauma-informed facilitation and integration for individuals and groups.
Psilocybin journeys can be profoundly meaningful and research is now affirming what many have long experienced—ingesting plant medicine, when held in a safe and supportive container, can open pathways to deep healing. These experiences may help individuals reconnect with their inner wisdom, process emotional wounds, and rediscover a sense of meaning, awe and connection.
I named my practice “SOUL JOURN” which is short for soul journey, a path of personal and spiritual growth that allows us to connect with our inner selves, explore our passions and align ourselves with our higher purpose. I believe that the mind and body already posses an innate wisdom that knows how to heal, process trauma and move toward wholeness. Psychedelics create an altered state of consciousness, which can help re-awaken this knowing, allowing for shifts in perspective, the shedding of old patterns and beliefs that no longer serve us, and a deeper understanding of one's place in the world.
Beyond the science, it’s the personal breakthroughs, restoration, and profound insights I’ve witnessed in my clients that fuels my passion for this work. My facilitation practice is informed by an embodied understanding of healing that honors the nervous system, the body, and the rhythms of nature. It is rooted in the idea that a more holistic approach to wellness is what is needed now more than ever, as we navigate our way through a rapidly changing world that is making it harder to find balance and connection.
With nearly three decades of personal exploration of psychedelics, this is not new terrain for me. I received my psychedelic facilitator training from InnerTrek in 2023 and I am committed to providing safe, legal access to psilocybin services.

What is Psilocybin?
So, what exactly is psilocybin?
Simply put, it’s a naturally occurring psychedelic compound found in certain species of mushrooms, which are sometimes called “magic mushrooms.” When ingested, psilocybin interacts with serotonin receptors in the brain, leading to altered perceptions, emotions, and thoughts. In a therapeutic setting, this can be a powerful tool for breaking down mental barriers, confronting deep-seated fears, and gaining new perspectives on life.
The effects of psilocybin can vary greatly depending on the individual and the setting. Some people describe the experience as deeply spiritual, others as emotionally cathartic, and for many, it’s a bit of both. What’s important to know is that the journey is unique to each person, and that’s where the role of a licensed psilocybin facilitator comes in.
Oregon’s History
In 2020, Oregon made history by becoming the first state in the U.S. to legalize psilocybin for therapeutic use. This groundbreaking move was made possible by Measure 109, a voter-approved initiative that allows adults over 21 to access psilocybin in a supervised, legal setting. Since then, Oregon has been at the forefront of the movement to explore the real-time therapeutic potential of psilocybin.
Psilocybin, the active ingredient in certain types of mushrooms, has been used for centuries in spiritual and healing practices. Now, under the guidance of licensed facilitators, it’s being used in modern therapeutic practices to support the treatment of various conditions, including PTSD, severe depression, anxiety, and addiction. But even beyond these clinical uses, many people are drawn to psilocybin for its potential to spark personal transformation, creativity, and a deeper connection with oneself.

What Does A Guided Psilocybin Journey Look Like?
A legal psilocybin experience takes place in a licensed service center and begins with consultation and screening, dedicated preparation sessions. During this time, we clarify your intentions, review safety, and discuss what the experience may be like. On the day of administration, you’ll receive a measured, state-regulated psilocybin product and settle into a calm, supportive setting designed to encourage inward focus. I offer compassionate and skilled non-directive support through your entire journey. Afterward, we’ll meet for integration sessions to reflect on what emerged and explore how those insights can be meaningfully incorporated into your everyday life.
STEP 1: Consultation & Screening
Before the journey begins, we ensure this is the right path for you. We’ll discuss your medical history, your goals for healing, and any questions you have. Safety and trust are my foundation.
STEP 2: Preparation
Healing requires a sturdy container. In this session, we’ll build relationship through thoughtful discussion on your intentions and goals. We’ll also review the required paperwork, and I’ll share guidance on dosing recommendations, and "internal navigation" skills that can help you stay grounded during the experience.
STEP 3: The Medicine Session
In a comfortable, private setting licensed and approved by the Oregon Health Authority, you will consume the psilocybin. After consumption, you will relax with a personalized music playlist, eye mask and quiet presence. I will be right by you to ensure you feel safe, supported, and held throughout the entire process.
STEP 4: Integration
The true work happens here. We meet following your session to discuss the insights, emotions, and visions you experienced into lasting, practical changes in your daily life.
